About Jamie Sheridan:

As a positive and project manager, I prioritize creating a supportive work environment and solving
issues in innovative and creative ways. My strong communication skills, both written and verbal,
enable me to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including visitors, volunteers, and staff members. I have developed and implemented systems and procedures to increase efficiencies. These include
planning yearly rotas, time management systems to ensure that staff and assets are being utilised in
the most productive way. I have also developed stock management systems to ensure that stores are always moving and not sitting on shelves. I have also developed Contractor Management systems to
ensure that Contractors are working efficiently and manage their time effectively. I have
implemented systems that measure staff performance, and this information has been used to
compile reports for Stakeholder meetings.
As an experienced project Manager, I have extensive experience of solving complex problems as they
arise. I have developed systems that allow contingencies to be implemented into planned works schedules to reduce inefficiencies and respond to unexpected eventualities. These contingencies allow timely response to work issues and prioritise tasks to alleviate workload pressure. I have maintained service standards and develop business plans with accurate forecasting and budgetplanning. Additionally, I have managed and maintained site contracts for multiple locations,
demonstrating my ability to handle diverse responsibilities.I have experience of finding funding solutions for community projects as well as gaining sponsorship from local businesses. I have extensive experience of developing and delivering projects for Local Authorities. Over the course of nearly fifteen years, I have worked in various customer-focused roles, gaining
extensive experience in guiding visitors and organizing events in the city of Lincoln. I have worked collaboratively with the National Lottery to promote heritage projects like the Boultham Park
Restoration project, engaging in audience consultation workshops to gather public input, and
discussing the impact of planned works on the park. Additionally, I facilitated consultation events
with community groups to involve them in the planning and selection of playground equipment for
installation in community areas. I possess excellent IT skills, proficiently working with Microsoft Office packages, CAD, data mapping,
and CRM systems. My experience in maintaining compliance with government legislation, such as
DDA, GDPR, Risk Register, H&SE compliance, RIDOR (2013), and First Aid in the Workplace, ensures a
safe and lawful environment for both employees and visitors.
