Jamila Turner-Dell’Acqua

I welcome the opportunity to tackle new challenges and take the initiative while collaborating effectively within a team. As a proactive, creative, and inclusive educator, I strive to exemplify strong leadership in the classroom by prioritizing each student's needs. My goal is to foster a lifelong passion for learning and help develop confident, engaged citizens.

I have been a proactive educator from a young age, consistently volunteering in schools and teaching dance while I was a dance college and university student. This experience fueled my passion for pursuing a career in teaching, allowing me to work across the early years, primary, and secondary phases. Since becoming a qualified teacher, I have taught both in the UK and internationally. I am eager to return to the classroom as I establish myself in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and seek a position in a local school.

Through hard work, determination, and a commitment to continuous professional development, I have obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language diploma, a Master’s degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Special Education. In addition, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while working in a primary school, where I participated in a School-Centered Initial Teacher Training program. This experience has equipped me with the skills and expertise necessary to excel as an educator.
