About Janine Philips:
I currently work as a Reservations Agent at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons helping guests to make bookings within the property including room reservation, restaurant bookings, events and at Raymond Blanc Cookery & Gardening schools. The role includes gaining an understanding guest requirements to ensure an tailored experience. I have good experience of HMS & SCS for room reservations and Seven Rooms for restaurant and other bookings.
As well as responding confidently to telephone and email enquiries from guests and travel agents I process online bookings and work within a team to provide the highest standard of service. My experience of the LQA (Quality Assurance for Luxury Hospitality) standards and ServiceNow has resulted in a recent 98% test booking score. I have excellent storytelling skills to enable up-selling and enhancing guest experience. I have a deep knowledge of the hotel, the packages offered and the processes required to ensure operations run smoothly. I am confident in sending secure payments via Adyen and processing gift cards.
I am a friendly and enthusiastic person, who ensures that customers receive the best service and satisfaction. In my current role I always strived to achieve the best results, ensuring that my day-to-day tasks are completed to the highest standards.
My cross training has included working at the front desk, with the restaurant hostess team, the housekeeping team and joining the cookery & gardening school teams. I have also been involved in the concept & development of Art classes within the gardens at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons which has the potential to become an Art School to add to the property portfolio.
I have great communication and listening skills developed through my teaching career & I am able to successfully assist customers with any requirements or requests they may have. I work extremely well in a team as well as alone as I am able to confidently deal with problems and use my initiative to overcome challenging situations.
