Joana Rodrigues

Hi, I’m a 19 year-old undergraduate student at the University of Edinburgh studying Philosophy and English literature. I am now back in England for summer and I am looking for a temporary, part-time/summer job as I’m only staying here until the 29th July. 

I have some experience in tutoring as I was an English tutor for a year at NumberWorks’nWords in Surbiton whilst doing my A-Levels. During that time when I worked as an English tutor I also had my working experience at Lime Tree - primary school - as a teaching assistant and in The Study School in New Malden. When I moved to Edinburgh for university I worked as a seasonal sales assistant for The Nutcracker Company at the Edinburgh Christmas Market in a very fast-paced environment where I developed several skills such as communication, money handling, stocking, and working under pressure. 

I have achieved 12 GCSEs grades ranging from 5-9 and I have completed my A-Levels, having achieved an A in Sociology, a B in English Literature, an A* in Portuguese, and a C in Psychology. I am now going into my second year as an undergraduate student at The University of Edinburgh.
