About Johnnie Wells:
I am an experienced digital strategy and transformation lead with over 15 years in the digital, creative, and client-services industry, alongside earlier commercial leadership roles in the automotive sector. I’m passionate about solving complex problems through well-designed digital experiences, improving how organisations communicate, and creating positive change for the communities I work with. My key skills include discovery and user research, workflow and systems design, stakeholder engagement, UX-led project delivery, and cross-functional team leadership. I also serve as the Mayor of St Ives, strengthening my communication, governance, and strategic decision-making. I am now looking for a full-time role where I can bring my blend of digital expertise, people leadership, and transformation experience to a new challenge.

Lead digital delivery and client strategy across multiple sectors, delivering 40+ websites and digital service projects. Responsible for discovery, UX, workflow design, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional team leadership.

Managed a Ford dealership with approx. 30 staff across sales, service, and parts. Led P&L, operations, customer experience, and commercial performance.
Mayor of St Ives – St Ives Town Council (2023–Present)

Chair of key committees and working groups, contributing to multimillion-pound Town Deal projects and leading stakeholder engagement, communication, and governance activities.
