Recently finished my contract as a Community Learning Facilitator with Ayrshire College, working with adults, teenagers and children, some with Special Needs. 

I am a retired police officer, among other jobs, and a keen volunteer.

Experience

Five years in the Merchant Navy.

30 years in the police, retiring as Inspector, and with several years as a trainer in a variety of police related disciplines.

Five years as a local councilor in East Ayrshire Council.

Two years as a Community Learning Facilitator with Ayrshire College.

Education

I have an MA in Islamic Studies and a Tertiary Level Teaching PgC.
