About Jon Seal:

Effective coach and Support worker bringing 7 years’ experience in mentoring, developing and guiding children and young adults to thrive in education and sports. I am driven and highly trained in everything I do and have completed various training courses for both coaching and working with SEN and young pupils. I am passionate about mentoring young people and adults in developing educational skills along with sustainable healthy lifestyles.

I set myself high standards and enjoy working as part of a team and was captain for Staffordshire university futsal team for 2 years where I lead a successful team into various awards. Through the use of my team leading skills, I was able to distribute leadership throughout to ensure everyone felt they had the same part in the team. I take personal pride in my own development from an early age and have completed various self-development activities such as Gold Duke of Edinburgh. I am enthusiastic and committed to achieving my goals. I have now finished studying a Sports Coaching degree at Staffordshire University and aim to further my previous experience working with children and young adults as a coach and career and love to adapt to new ventures.

Whilst being at university I have learnt in greater details of how to speak and assist members of the public with my sports coaching degree, whether children or adults I would always try to ensure the best service to the paying customers. University has also allowed me to expert my planning and evaluating skills within my sessions. The reason I often work on this skill is because I believe that teaching is an ongoing process and no matter what a good sports coach should always reflect after sessions in order to improve their sessions in the future. Overall, I am a very sociable, confident person who has a strong passion for a range of sports and teaching. I have a lot relevant experience and strong personal characteristics to becoming a sports coach to help improve and develop the lives of our future generations with the power of sports.
