With a strong foundation in medical pharmacology and several years of academic and practical experience in healthcare environments, I’m driven by a commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centred care. My work has taken me from clinical research settings to direct patient support in care homes, giving me a balanced understanding of both the science and the human side of healthcare.

I’m particularly passionate about the intersection of pharmacology and clinical practice, how modern therapies translate into real-world outcomes. My strengths include analytical problem-solving, scientific writing, and clear communication within multidisciplinary teams. I take a methodical yet empathetic approach to every role, aiming to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of patient care and medical understanding.

I have developed a diverse foundation in healthcare and biomedical sciences through both academic and hands-on roles. My background includes research experience within the field of medical pharmacology, focusing on modern therapies such as GLP-1 receptor agonists, alongside clinical observation at Neath Port Talbot Hospital and the Swansea University Osteopathy Clinic.

In parallel, I’ve gained practical experience in patient care through my work as a carer for elderly residents, supporting daily health needs and contributing to multidisciplinary care delivery. This blend of scientific rigour and compassionate care has strengthened my ability to apply pharmacological knowledge in real-world clinical contexts, preparing me for further training in medicine.
