Based on my thirty years' experience as a freelance copy editor and proofreader, I believe I am eminently employable. I have worked on many hundreds (literally) of academic theses, dissertations and essays. I used to work for a proofreading-service company, amending writing by EFL students, so I am very used to untangling badly written sentences, as well as injecting the correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.

For the past two years, I have been working consistently for an English publishing company, editing and proofing fiction.
