A Senior Change Manager with over 20 years of Change Management experience within global transformation

programmes, across a variety of sectors. experience of managing organisation, process and technology change within FTSE 100 organisations. Predominantly providing leadership and acting as the bridge between technical teams and impacted businesses to ensure requirements are understood and changes are planned, executed and deployed successfully and embedded into ‘business as usual’ to achieve the projected benefits.

Key areas of expertise include all elements of Change Management and deployment, Process architecture and design, User Acceptance Testing and Post Go Live support. I also have general Programme Management and PMO capabilities and experience. Adept at partnering with external consultants (Accenture, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, KPMG, Capgemini) and internal business owners to drive the best outcomes whilst minimising impacts to day-to-day operations.

Confident and capable communicator with ability to flex style to culturally and geographically diverse stakeholder groups as well as engagement at executive board level. After over 17 years as a permanent Senior Manager with Centrica and subsequent multiple contract roles, I can apply practical operational experience to complex change initiatives. Industry experience in Energy, Banking, Telecommunications, and Manufacturing and have worked across Procurement, HR, Finance and Customer Services functions.

Vast experience across end-to-end programme lifecycle in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. My key strengths are my years of experience that enable me to define and drive the appropriate change strategy based on the varying scope, size, scale and resistance factors. Frequently able to absorb other activities, as the need arises, to support successful implementation such as design and requirements workshops, process design and managing and executing testing.

Equally comfortable moving from strategic planning and definition to ‘doing the doing’. Very much a hands-on style and approach from the get-go which enables me to address resistance and barriers with gravitas.

Demonstrable examples of challenging the status quo whilst maintaining good working relationships with senior leaders both in the impacted business and across the programme. A veteran of large scale programmes with the ability to keep a cool head when working in fast paced, ambiguous and challenging environments.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Change Lead HSBC Third Party Risk Management

Change and Implementation Lead accountable for change strategy, plan and execution for Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Programme which implemented a new Risk and Controls Framework associated with the management of HSBC Third parties. Set up of 5 global TPRM Hubs in Poland, India, China, Sri Lanka and Mexico. Also included technology changes to support the new framework. Following successful launch in July 2021, I am currently Change Lead for next phase of the Programme which is expanding the scope of the 5 Hubs to a fully managed service.

Global Change Management Business Partner – Rolls Royce

Successful deployment of Oracle Hyperion Planning to Group and Regional Finance teams replacing manual spreadsheets. Next moved to an SAP programme as Change Lead plus took on an additional role of Test Manager to fill an identified gap that could not be filled in the timescales. Release delivered to timescales and budget.

Global HR Change Manager - Merlin

Accountable Change Lead for all change management activities in readiness for deployment of new SaaS HR Cloud technology from Cornerstone to global regions. Following a slippage in dates for our Pilot countries, I was asked by the Group HR Director (sponsor) to take on an additional role of Project/Programme Manager for our next region for both system and change activities. The changes I implemented in the Programme plan structure and governance resulted in the successful deployment to 7 European countries to timescales and budget. I then performed a dual role as Change Manager and Regional Project Manager for the remaining regions (UK, Asia, Australia)

Change Manager - HSBC

Successful deployment of Oracle Fusion technology and processes to 50K UK expenses users and 50 accounts payable employees in UK and India. Took over all change management activities from 3rd party consultancy to ensure HSBC change methodology and culture was taken on board and assumed responsibility for user acceptance testing due to an unsatisfactory approach taken by 3rd party consultancy.
