Recruitment Manager- Attraction June 2019- April 2023

Frontline

  • Leading a recruitment team of 6, managing budget of £250K+ with responsibility to recruit 450 graduates and careers changers into England wide local authority social work, alongside 45 Brand Managers, 3 graduate interns and 12 student interns. Set direction and strategy for all high-volume recruitment sourcing activity, from events, to marketing and conversion campaigns to generate approx. 10000 registrations per year. 
  • Responsible for all recruitment marketing and employer branding from initial concepts to delivery across all platforms with a key focus on reducing cost and increasing effectiveness. Key achievement include: 2021 brochure being shortlisted in Highfliers Research top 10 as voted by students and increasing brand perception, with Times top 100 employer rankings moving from 42 to 37 in 2020 and 37 to 32 in 2021.
  • Successfully built and nurtured future talent pipelines for roles.
  • Led tender processes to appoint a number of third party suppliers, with responsibility of managing and evaluating ongoing relationships to ensure best value for money. 
  • Lead for the Recruitment Diversity Working Group. Implemented D&I initiatives across recruitment which improved candidate experience and successfully increased underrepresented groups hired in 2020 and 2021.
  • Developed D&I workshops and best practice materials to aid the learning, understanding and implementation of diversity and inclusion strategy. 
  • Working with recruitment management group to implement a new ATS system (Amberjack) and being responsible for leading build and testing of the system for internships, brand manager and insight days.

 

UK&I Recruitment Manager- Emerging Talent June 2018-June 2019

Danone

  • Business partnering with teams across Danone UK&I to understand and explore placement and graduate recruitment requirements and rotations across finance, HR, IT Sales, Marketing and Nutrition 
  • Responsible for attraction, selection, induction and programme management for all graduates (10-15 per intake) and placements (15-20 per intake). Development of all selection, onboarding and training materials and guidance together with hiring managers.
  • HRBP for all placement students; responsible for their career management, learning & development, employee experience and wellbeing.
  • Managed and rolled out all training and development for both programmes. Successfully introduced new training for placements after collecting feedback from them and their managers.
  • Supervising performance review and calibration process for all graduate and placements
  • Development of all recruitment marketing and social media in line with global EVP. 
  • Management and reporting on the Emerging Talent budget to deliver efficiency and cost savings in line with global business guidelines.
