Katherine Weager

I am a highly motivated, Head of Languages. I pride myself on my ability to build relationships with students, enabling me to support student engagement and progression. Having experience in a tutor role, I feel this is a benefit as it enables me to understand the holistic needs of students. I have experience in teaching French and Spanish in Key Stage 3, 4 & 5 along with teaching Personal Development. This is underpinned by my qualifications and school experience. I am currently a Deputy Director of the Communications faculty with the role of Head of MFL and manage a team of 3 language specialists along with appraising two members of the English teaching team. As a result, working in a variety of roles and school contexts, I have developed a secure set of transferable skills and professional expertise.
