Kathryn Haynes

Caring and passionate I have a wide range of experience working within the healthcare profession. I have 18 years’ experience, specialising in several areas for example learning disabilities, mental health, people with dementia, strokes, MS, brain injury and spinal injury. My area of interest is working with the elderly and older adults, but I am very versatile, and I am keen to try new areas. I am a former registered Nurse/clinical lead at harrier-lodge care home. I have been qualified 7 years. I have many strengths, I am a very caring person who has good communication skills; I am also very hard working and enjoy a challenge. I enjoy working in a team and enjoy helping people. I am also a person who likes and is always willing to learn new skills and develop my knowledge further.  I have experience working alongside other clinicians for example GPS, district nurses, dieticians, continence specialists, OT, physios and speech and language therapists. I am very capable of working alone and I can manage my own caseload due to previous experience working in the community as a community nurse.  I am a good communicator and I am willing to work towards targets. I have always had an interest in working towards a role in management. I have experience in this area, however I’m willing to undertake any training to help expand my knowledge further.
