Katie browes

My name is Katie, and I have gained extensive experience working on a large variety of musicals, plays, actor musician shows and magic productions.

I studied at Mountview for three years gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Theatre Production. The course gave me the chance to work on a wide range of musicals including Alice in Wonderland, Romeo and Juliet and 9 to 5 the Musical. This allowed me to gain experience working in many varying roles including ASM, DSM and SM, each one enabled me to work within or to lead a team and taking on responsibilities that relate to these positions.

My other experiences range from ASM on National Youth Theatre productions to being involved in the February- March 2024 Cabaret cast change. My 6 weeks experience on Cabaret, involved busy cueing sequences to visual and music cues.

I have recently worked as ASM Dep on “I wish you well” and acting as a Cover Company SM on the production “Amaze” both at the Criterion Theatre. I am currently working as Rehearsal ASM at The Almeida Theatre.

Through these Involvements I have developed a strong appreciation for the level of skills that must be mastered and put into practice to ensure the smooth running of both short and long running productions. This has enabled me to enhance my transferable skills, I am hard working, committed and highly organised.

I aim to enhance an organisation’s success through dedication, innovation, and efficiency, always seeking ways to improve and excel. Remaining empathic with a calming personality, this allows me to create good meaningful connections with those I work with, and I see things from multiple perspectives allowing me to understanding other’s opinions and allowing me to devise solutions.
Although passionate and enthusiastic I bring a quiet enthusiasm to a production. I am a calm, professional and proactive member of a team.
