Katie-Louise Davis

My career began as a Junior Sound Engineer at Lana Banana studios, specialising in ADR & voice-over. I have had the pleasure of recording and editing for the likes of Disney, Discovery, and the BBC. I have also had the opportunity to gain experience in the short form industry, leading voice-over sessions for advertisements. This experience led me to an Audio Assistant role at ENVY post, Soho London, where audio assisting in a post production environment has become my area of expertise. I am highly motivated and excited to continue my journey as I carve out a successful career in the audio post production industry.

• Audio Assistant at Envy Post : I have gained experience working in a post production environment, alongside the Dubbing Mixers at ENVY Post. My job involves preparing ProTools sessions for mixers, by importing AAFs, video and audio mixdowns provided by the Offline department, and ensuring the session has the correct channel specifications. Physical studio/VO booth setup. I have become proficient in ProTools from carrying out tasks including VO trimming, and exports like stem printing. My role also heavily involves QC review, so I am very comfortable working with Avid. I work closely with our clients at ENVY, providing them with BITC mix viewing files, so I feel confident with client service communication.
