I am a conscientious, resourceful, and dedicated individual looking for employment following the successful completion of my undergraduate degree, in order to gain skills which will assist me in adapting to new experiences.

I work efficiently and effectively as part of a team but also possess the ability to work on my own initiative. I am highly motivated and have the ability to adapt to new challenges and responsibilities. With my can-do attitude, I get tasks done efficiently and swiftly. I am a customer-focused person who aims to deliver exceptional service and provide excellence across the board. 

Since working in customer service, I have become well equipped with the following: 
Proactively ensuring stock was replenished and rotated according to the use-by date
Dealing with a large number of customer queries and complaints when necessary, ensuring complete satisfaction
Verifying customers’ ages to assure the legal sale of age-restricted items
Cleaning all work environments to maintain high hygiene standards 
Operating a till including cashing up with limited experience in banking 
Taking deliveries of new stock and ensuring all appropriate documentation was completed 
Assisting with the writing and installation of seasonal advertisements in the store
Ensuring all records of freezer temperatures were kept up to date and within acceptable ranges.
Assisting in the training of new members of the staff 

Throughout my education, I have been taught the the many different roles within the publishing industry as well as the many forms of writing such as: creative, academic, marketing, etc. I have since followed my teachings and integrated it into my hobbies, constantly improving and adapting with hopes that I can implement it into my career. With a first class honours degree (as well as an upcoming masters) I hope to achieve a professional career in the industry of writing/publishing.
