I have delivered in product management roles.
In Omnibiz Africa, I was one of the original product managers. Omnibiz raised a US$3 million seed round in 2021 and secured a $15 million pre-Series A investment in 2022. I helped build and launch the product on which the investment case was solidified.
In GIG Logistics, I re-engineered and optimised the Lastmile delivery app and operations processes that rebuild trust with customers leading to the doubling of revenue in 2022. By effectively connecting all fleets (in-house and 3PL) to the GIGgo customer app with a more intuitive layout, pick-up and drop-off requests turnaround time was improved by 110% which increased revenue by approx—200% in 2022.
In GeoTravel, I took a manual travel agent and moved them to the internet age by creating a digital presence for multiple online flight and holiday bookings and reduced back office process with increased margin and faster customer service experience. (In Nigeria, the online travel agent experience is limited - people still phone agents for bookings unlike in the UK).

Built an online travel portal with a reliable back office that streamlined and automated travel processes in the company. Increased year on year margin by 78% through reseller (affiliate) platform and multiple GDS office ID integration.

Responsibilities summary
- Developed and supported strategies to build specific roadmaps and backlogs for products, building a complete end to end customer experiences that deliver on agreed product metrics (OKRs).
- Worked together with vendors, Omnibiz tech teams and retail teams to deliver transparency through an effective digitised supply chain.
- Optimised Product through user research to gather quantitative and qualitative data.
NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS
Played a lead role in building the Omnibiz Retail and SFA product management framework. Led the research, understanding and documentation of customer needs of the FMCG distribution channels that was used in building the Omnibiz retail app. This app raised a US$3 million seed funding round led by V&R Africa, Timon Capital and Tangerine Insurance in 2021. The app also secured another US$15 million pre-Series A investment led by Timon Capital in 2022.
