- Built and led a high-performing accounts payable business support centre team provided services to Europe, Middle and Africa, achieving full operational performance within six months and reaching a one-year milestone with zero attrition
- Transformed team culture in European buying centre through customer-centric education, reducing attrition from 25% to 15% and improving purchase order cycle time from five days to under two
Commercial:
- Introduced NEC4 contracting to ExxonMobil, negotiating and implementing a Professional Services Contract and Engineering and Construction Contract for the design and build of fuel pipeline between London and Heathrow
- Negotiated an industrial gas supply agreement at Fawley refinery that resolved pre-existing disputes, ensured on-going supply during a major plant refurbishment and established a competitive and reliable supply for 15 years
- Negotiated multiple settlement agreements between ExxonMobil and third parties to remedy deficient works
Governance & Risk Management
- Advised senior executives on internal controls and led procurement fraud investigations, strengthening governance and risk management across global procurement operations
- A focus visible leadership significantly improved safety and procedural discipline across West Africa Supply Chain, earning the President’s Award for Safety Performance. By emphasizing execution of the basics well, we achieved record inventory accuracy
- Preparation of teams for multiple internal and SoX audits. Controls were always found satisfactory, including for operations previously identified as needing improvement
