I have had multiple significant periods of experience in the customer service sector over the last 7 years. Previous positions I have served in include newspaper delivery and railway ticket sales, which required solid punctuality and resilience, interacting positively with customers while providing a quick and efficient service, and both an ardent self-reliance and hearty teamworking abilities.

Additionally, my most recent position as a store assistant at ASDA saw me responsible for several key areas both in the warehouse and on the store floor. I was involved in waste management, movement of deliveries, stocking of products and date checking, ensuring the continued smooth operation of day-to-day business and that customers had access to the freshest and highest-quality products. I also made certain that any waste products were correctly stored and disposed of during the busy Christmas period.

I would consider myself a dedicated, well-mannered, diligent and hard-working person, who always puts every effort into ensuring the highest level of care and attention goes into different situations and tasks. Since leaving sixth form in 2021, I have received praise and commendation for the quality of work I have produced throughout the various jobs and home chores I have undertaken, giving me a stronger set of work skills that I've been able to apply to each task I do, whether professional or at home.

I also believe myself to be a thoughtful, kind, inclusive person with a warm and helpful personality. This has allowed me to establish and maintain many cordial professional and/or personal relationships with family, friends, colleagues and other peers throughout my life, as well as further my teamworking skills.

June 2016 - March 2018

Sorted and delivered newspapers. Required speed and punctuality. Job performed under all weather conditions, from heat to snow, demonstrating endurance and perseverance in tough conditions.

Learned how railways and large businesses operated, with some experience in customer service through selling tickets, and prepping/organising timetables for drivers to use. Learned to work as part of a team.

NCS (National Citizen Service) — Voluntary work

July - August 2019

Took part in 4-week program that encouraged both independent growth and teamwork. Spent 2 weeks on team-building activities and camping, and 2 weeks on voluntary work for an old people’s home, which included fundraising, teamwork and perseverance in order to achieve our goals.
