• Provide a pro-active service and advice to victims of domestic violence
• Risk assess and regularly review the risk assessment and deliver service
• Explain housing, civil and criminal legal options to clients and empower the service user to make their
own choices
• Attend, prepare and present at the multi-agency risk assessment conference meeting (MARAC)
• Attend the Daily Risk Assessment Meeting (DRAM) at Weekly intervals

Duties & Responsibilities
• Offer Refuge to women and children fleeing domestic abuse, provide practical and emotional support
to survivors of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse in accordance with Refuge's
philosophical principles, conducting key work sessions on a regular basis and keeping casework records
up to date.
• Welcome new residents, explain and arrange for them to sign occupancy agreements, ensuring that
they are aware of their options for moving on to more permanent accommodation and to develop a
proactive move on strategy for individual residents.
