Kira Locke

My name is Kira Locke, an experienced receptionist who has worked at Brunel Care, Glastonbury care home for the past two years. In this role, I have welcomed families, managed administrative tasks, and delivered newspapers to the residence every morning. I am a positive and cooperative team player who enjoys contributing to a friendly and efficient working environment. I am also skilled at creating spreadsheets, which has helped streamline some of the home's routine tasks. As a receptionist, I am proficient at multitasking and working independently, and I am comfortable handling phone calls, transferring calls, and using office equipment such as the photocopier. I am proud of my ability to stay calm and organized in busy periods and to meet deadlines without compromising quality. Overall, I am passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making everyone feel welcome and valued.

During my time at Bedeck, I gained valuable retail experience as a Christmas temp. I consistently maintained a neat and organized store while assisting with deliveries and serving customers on the till. I was able to increase sales by providing customers with valuable discounts and add-ons. I received top marks for my outstanding customer service skills, and I am confident and bubbly when interacting with customers. From 2019, I then moved to tefal  working as an eight-hour weekend sales assistant, where I regularly work overtime, including late nights and weekends.
