Experience

I have been a secondary school drama teacher for over 10 years and have a wealth of experience in drama, theatre and directing. I am good at planning and creating engaging and inclusive resources for young people. I have also worked within the pastoral team, led on mental health strategy within the whole school and trained to become a mindfulness practitioner.

Outside of teaching I am an artist, calligrapher and illustrator, with a small online business. I specialise in painting houses and buildings and wedding calligraphy.

I also have also been a wedding celebrant for the last 5 years and have had the pleasure of marrying a number of couples.

First class degree in Secondary Drama Education at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (now Cardiff Metropolitan University)

A-levels in Drama and Theatre Studies (B) and Sociology (A). 
AS Levels in Art (B) and Psychology (C). Ely Sixth Form.

12 GCSEs including Drama, Business Studies, Music and ICT. Soham Village College.
