About Lauren Styles:
Hi, I’m Lauren.
Im a proud mum to a little boy with complex needs.
Though him I have experience and knowledge of autism/ADHD.
I have completed courses such an Understanding Autism Level 2, Level 2 certificate in Understanding Common Childhood Illnesses, I have extent knowledge of PDA through research and currently in the process of learning Makaton.
Previously, before I became a mother I worked for many years in the care sector as a palliative health care assistant.
I have always loved to help others. I am a caring, organised, reliable and understanding person. I work well as part of a team and can use my initiative and work alone when required. I take my job roles seriously and always give 110% to ensure all tasks are complete as required.
I am currently looking for a job role within school hours that will fit in around my family.
Experience
I previously worked for Arion Care and Plan It Care, where I was a healthcare assistant. Majority of service users were end of life, where my job was to ensure all care needs, medication and household duties where met.
I had to leave my job here to focus on my son, and become his full time carer.
