About Lee Thorpe:

I have worked various roles within my career. I am resilient and able to adapt to change in any working environment. I have a wide range of knowledge and always keen to learn new ways of working to in turn building upon my skill set.

I believe you can learn any new skill, if you are keen and willing to learn. My best attribute, however, has to be my interpersonal skills. I am a likeable, approachable and professional person. I believe your approach to work can have a major impact on your efficiency and quality of work. I can take lead of a task and encourage my team to stay aligned with the project whilst utilising their skills, or, I can be part of the team, taking direction, ensuring my role in the task is carried out to the best of my abilities whilst supporting my peers.

Experience

I am a Certified CQI and IRCA ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, which strengthened the skills and abilities I had gained over my career. I passed my exam and scored the highest in my cohort. I have a good understanding of ISO 14001, and plan to become a certified ISO 14001 lead auditor in the future.

I was able to achieve Multy UK’s BRC accreditation and put the company in the top 1% of a major supermarket chains suppliers within 7 months of my roles commencement.

My most memorable project, in my career was within the NHS as the Data Quality Lead implementing the legal changes within the Metal Health Concordat around the detention of service users on a Section 136, 135 and 135i of the Mental Health Act. I was tasked to build, maintain and manage a database to provide meaningful data and make recommendations across Police, Ambulance, County Council, Mental Health and A&E services.

Once the foundations of the project were in place. I was able to roll out the training through event days and interfacing with teams in their own work environment. I was able to manipulate the database to identify opportunities within all key services. This led to significant changes to Police training, patient conveyance methods, resource distribution and supported services to exceed expectations. My reports and databases were described as the ‘best in the country’ by The Police Area Operational Manager of Northamptonshire.
