Liam Keown

I recently graduated from the University of Manchester and hold a 2:1 MPhys (Hons) in Physics with Astrophysics. I am self motivated and a strong academic achiever who is data and programming oriented. I have cultivated these skills throughout my academic education and through my own personal projects. I have a vast range of experience within both Physics and Data science which has allowed me to learn integral skills that make me a great asset to any organisation. I am excited to bring these and my experiences into a new work environment.

Completed my masters project in collaboration with CityFootballGroup using Machine Learning to analyse low-block defences in premier league football. Created a model and optimised it before presemting in front of man city analytics department at the end of the year. My other professional work is in hospitality where I refined my leadership and communication skills.

I hold an MPhys (hons) degree in Physics with Astrophysics which i completed with a 2:1 grade. I achieved A*,A,A at A-levels as well as flawless GCSE's in which I achieved A* or 8 in every subject.
