Lily Kemmett

I have had previous experience working  as an English Language Assistant for a primary school in Valencia, Spain. It has given me the skills and confidence to teach and mentor students from ages 4-12 years old.   In my role I created class activities and lesson plans that will encourage and motivate students to learn. My friendly personality allows children to feel safe and in an open environment to be able to ask questions, and have fun. My key responsibilities were to teach and support students in their learning of the English language, overseeing daily lesson interactive activities, setting homework tasks and monitoring progression. In total I taught 120 students which are split into different classes and age groups throughout my working week

In 2020 I had the opportunity to work in Greece as a live in Au-pair, tutoring and caring for the wellbeing of children ages, 7, 4 and 2 that gave me skills such as creating daily routines for the children and adapting to new challenges and surroundings.  I believe that combining my driven work ethic, passion for teaching, enthusiasm and love of new cultures, I can support and mentor children of all ages in multiple areas and activities to be able to create an inspiring an exciting experience for them.

My most recent experience was working as a children's activity leader in a Hotel resort based in Croatia. We monitored and created daily activity boards with activities such as Water skiing and water polo for children from the kid’s club to attend and learn new skills on their holiday. This role also included morning meetups with parents to answer any questions they may have about activities or their child. 

My most recent education is the completion of my 120-Hour Tefl Certicate and also my Level 5 Tefl Certificate.
