- Wide range of standardised and non-standardised assessment tools using various OT models and approaches
- Working closely with the medical MDT and social services teams to achieve successful discharges for patients with complex mental, cognitive and physical care needs.

- Up to date training in all mandatory areas such as manual handling with additional respiratory training, OT specific manual handling among others.
- Wide range of acute physical and stroke rehabilitation skills
- Use of mental health OT models to increase wellbeing, independence with short term and long term goals for acute and community mental health patients
- Trained in mindfulness therapies and CBT approaches for interventions
- Experience providing education and managing care plans with family members with complex needs to produce good long term outcomes for patients
- Safeguarding of vulnerable patients and their family members
- Supporting clients with an intellectual disability alongside other core morbidities
- COVID precautions and management
