Lorraine Sheppard

Currently working at St. Joseph’s hospital in the catering department, undertaking all aspects of café work – serving customers and staff. Having previously run my own business and worked in the service industry for over 40 years, I am well versed and confident working with members of the public of all ages. Both my existing and previous careers have equipped me with excellent communicational and organisational skills which I feel are essential to the workplace and maintaining efficient services to the customer. Working on a 1-1 basis with customers daily, I take pride in my ability to make people feel welcome and at ease. I adhere to strict confidentiality at all times. I am a very well organised, punctual person and I am confident in my ability to work independently as an individual although I have experience and enjoy working within a team also.
