Coding Club Tutor / Simon Balle School

September 2021 - July 2022

 

Acted as a tutor in Python computer programming to a class of year 6/7/8 students at lunchtime and after school. This involved presenting and walking the class through solving a different coding exercise each week, then providing one-to-one assistance to students who needed it. Which taught me a lot about taking the lead and responsibility, as well as how I can best help a student and communicate in a way they can understand.

Coaching Football / Bury Rangers Football Club

August 2020 - August 2021

I provided coaching assistance during Bury Rangers under 6 team weekly training sessions. I set-up and oversaw various training drills, with an emphasis on inclusion and encouragement.
