Louis Saunderson

Over 2 Years of Customer Service and Administrative Experience across a variety of roles, both part-time and full-time. 

Formerly a Environmental Impact Assessor and Land Rights Advisor within the Environmental Services Team (EST). Starting in early September 2021, my 12-month Placement role involved the delivery of technical and administrative support and advice on EIA, HRA and NSIP legislation and land rights access to applicants, stakeholders, and the Planning Inspectorate’s (PINS) case teams. These capacities involved liaising externally with application representatives, at-times including conflict resolution and mediation. I also liaised internally with technical advisors and senior colleagues on collaborative projects, to inform and reinforce my work.  

Prior to this role, I worked as a Customer Service Operator at FM Outsource in a part-time role; for the duration of my employment I was assigned to the Missguided Team, providing customer care for a large online retailer. Resultantly, I'm someone experienced with navigating and interpreting back-end inventory systems and data, online collaboration, customer service, software processes and brand representation. 

I am a First Class Honours Graduate from the University of York, having studied Environment, Economics and Ecology (with a Placement Year). 

It is a unique interdisciplinary degree that advances your critical abilities to tackle real-world environmental challenges, manage economic and social pressures in a sustainable manner, and integrate the benefits that people derive from the environment into policy decisions and practice.

From September 2023 onwards, I am studying MSc Environmental Governance at the University of Manchester, within one to the top ten Geography departments in the UK (QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023).
