Services offered

With over 20 years in adult education including 8 years as a college principal and 3 as head of admissions I have gained a huge deal of knowledge around: HR, writing policies, managing staff, selling education and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. 

I have good communication skills whether presenting, writing or verbally engaging with external auditors - for example the British Council - on a wire range of KPIs including: Leadership and Management, Pastoral Care (HR and H&S) and Teaching  and Learning.

 

Approximate rate: £ 100 per hour

Experience

I started out in my early 20s teaching English as a Foreign Language in Turkey where I developed interpersonal skills as well as refined my teaching style. I returned to the U.K. and took the DELTA in order to become an Academic Manager - which I did.

I then moved to Spain where I started my own Language Services ‘School’ which - until the need to return again to the U.K. for family reasons - was very successful. 
 

Now in my early 30s, I found an academic manager  position in Oxford and within 2 years was promoted to Co-Principal which required me to lead on all audits as well as have oversight of Teaching and Learning. Management and Leadership and Pastoral Care including HR and H&S 

Education

I hold a Diploma of English Language Teaching to Adulta which is recognised as a Level 7 (equivalent to a Masters) qualification. However, having established my own successful school and then becoming Principal of a language and tutorial college in Oxford my real worth lies in my experience.
