General caring (Including personal care), assistance with mobility, all cleaning and household chores, shopping and night care. I also learnt how to medically wash and bandage ulcerated legs and preventative care including compression stockings. I managed the schedule and administered daily medications, including controlled drugs, with vigilance for adverse drug interactions and doctor or pharmacist's instructions.

I also managed and organised appointments and some household finances.

I was frequently my client's chaperone and advocate during appointments where their health and mental health could make communication and comprehension difficult for both sides.

Monitoring and assessing my client's mental health, making efficient notes and contacting the correct support and reporting my observations to engage in early intervention.

Shopkeeper, 3 years

I was expected to run the shop alone whilst the owner ran the post office. This included being a cashier, restocking shelves and taking inventory.

This included taking in the order from a local bakery and separating out pre-ordered from the general stock. Similarly I did this for newspapers put on hold. Prescriptions were also delivered from the local GP to the shop and sometimes needed to be organised between home delivery and collection.

I also operated the Pay Zone payment system and media rental service.

A Levels in English Language and English Literature and an AS in Psychology.
