My name is Lydia Hayward and I am a 21-year-old recent university graduate (Biological Sciences (BSc) First Class Honors) with an ongoing passion for childcare and education.

After experiencing working in a corporate environment as an IT consultant earlier this year, I have decided to pursue my career working with children. I am looking for a long-term nannying/governess role where I can become integrated into a family and offer the best care and support to both the children and parents/caregivers in raising polite and inquisitive young individuals.

I have 5+ years of childcare/nannying experience which extends to children within the SEND bracket. I also worked part-time at a nursery/primary school for 3 years, caring for children from 6 months to 11 years old. I am kind, friendly, and always enthusiastic to enhance a child's development through creative activities and offering educational support.

I also focus on the importance of an active and enriching lifestyle, having consistently participated in different sports and music-related hobbies. I was an active member of hockey, tennis, and rounders clubs where I participated in fixtures and held captain positions and I have recently joined a kickboxing club which I attend twice a week. I also hold a music A level with a specialism in the descant and alto recorders alongside grade 5 theory.

I hold a clean full UK driving licence and drive my own car so I can travel if necessary. I am also a non-smoker and I am completely comfortable with all pets (I have three lizards- two bearded dragons and one leopard gecko, and grew up with three crazy cocker spaniels!).
