Mackenzie Bilverstone

I am a 25 year old woman with a 2:1 BSc in Psychology and Criminology which is BPS accredited. I currently work as an Independant Mental Health Advocate covering individuals who have been sectioned under the mental health act. some of these may also be involved with the MoJ. Before this I worked as a support worker for individuals with learning disabilities, ill mental health and challenging behaviours. I have both direct and indirect experience of the mental health system and am able to work with all individuals free from prejudice to best support them. 

I am currently working as an independent mental health advocate for advent advocacy which supports clients who have been sectioned under the mental health act, some with MoJ involvement. I have been working in this job since September of 2023. Before this I worked as a support worker for individuals with learning disabilities, Ill mental health and challenging behaviours for both choice care group and avenues from 2017 until 2023. 

2:1 BSc in Psychology and Criminology which is BPS accredited.
