Madalina Craciun

I am a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong academic foundation in Sport and Exercise Psychology. I hold an MSc in Applied Sport and Exercise Psychology, building upon my First-Class Honours degree in Sport Development and Coaching. My academic journey has provided me with a deep understanding of human behavior, psychological principles, and the impact of sport and exercise on physical and mental well-being.

Beyond academics, I am a passionate advocate for children's well-being and have gained valuable practical experience in various settings. I volunteered at Bolton Lads and Girls Club, where I developed and delivered engaging programs for children from diverse backgrounds, including those with disabilities. This experience fostered my understanding of child development, safeguarding principles, and the importance of creating inclusive and supportive environments.

Currently, I work as a Duty Officer at a university sports center, where I am responsible for overseeing daily operations, engaging students in physical activity, and promoting a positive and inclusive sporting environment. This role has honed my communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, while also allowing me to develop and implement innovative programs to enhance the student experience.

I am a Level 1 qualified gymnastics coach and hold relevant certifications in First Aid, Health and Nutrition, Mental Health and Sport, and Working with Young People in Sport and Exercise. I am also a strong advocate for child protection and possess a basic awareness qualification in keeping children safe.

I am eager to contribute my skills and knowledge to a meaningful role that aligns with my passion for improving the lives of young people. I am a quick learner, adaptable, and possess a strong work ethic. I am confident that my academic background, practical experience, and personal values make me a valuable asset to any organization.
