Mahad Ahmed

I am an Cloud/DevOps Engineer with experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure for organisations of various sizes. My work includes using tools such as Terraform and Bicep to manage infrastructure, setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring systems are secure and reliable. I have supported both project delivery and day-to-day operations, working closely with teams to meet technical and business requirements. I take a practical approach to problem-solving and aim to deliver clear, maintainable solutions.

I have several years of experience working in cloud engineering and system administration roles, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure and now DevOps. My recent roles have involved designing and automating infrastructure using Terraform, managing containerised workloads with Kubernetes and Docker, and implementing secure, monitored environments through Azure-native tools. I have built and maintained CI/CD pipelines, supported cloud migrations, enforced governance using policies and role-based access, and worked closely with development and operations teams to ensure stable and efficient delivery of services. My background also includes system administration, including managing virtual machines, user access, and patching in both cloud and on-premises environments.
