About MAJID HASSAN:

I wish to express my interest in the current vacancy. Currently passed my Comptia Cysa+ certification exam. My personal qualities include excellent customer service, objectivity, professional service, multi-tasking, people-person and high standards of communication. I have always had good communication skills and they have improved over time, especially throughout my experience working as IT Service desk analyst in EPUT. I commit myself fully to following the required standards and use appropriate procedures, tools, and applications and perform well in all situations. I have good knowledge about tools such as Lansweeper, Sophos and Active Directory, which will help be to do my job as Cyber Security Engineer efficiently. I strongly believe that my problem-solving skills are my strengths. I have always handled any problem by breaking it down, taking a logical approach, understanding things quickly, and responding rather than reacting to the situation. I have also been successful using this approach in regards to customer services. Throughout my work experience, I have been good at prioritizing and balancing my workload so that I am constantly able to meet the daily SLA. Through the ITIL knowledge I learned to prioritize the core goals of both problem management and incident management. I strongly believe that this role will provide me the opportunity to implement my knowledge and enhance my experience.

 

Experience

  • Provide IT Support to NHS - EPUT staff
  • Answering calls and troubleshooting IT issues
  • Diagnose issues and determine effective solutions
  • Log, prioritise, and track all incidents and service requests using a ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, providing solutions or escalating to higher-level support if necessary
  • Active Directory – unlocking user accounts, resetting passwords, searching users. Enabling and disabling accounts and devices
  • Offer support through various channels, including phone, email, chat, or remote desktop tools
  • Provide training to end-users on IT systems, tools, and best practices.
  • Work closely with other IT team members to address complex issues and implement new technologies
