Mannat Mittal

I am a recent LL.M. Graduate from University College London. I specialized in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, with a minor in Liquidation and its consequences. I am a certified mediator and have extensive training in Negotiation and Dispute resolution. 

I am currently working as a consultant at ITI Capital, a financial Broker firm. I work as their complaints handler and communicate directly with clients as well as the Financial Ombudsman Services. I have gained experience in Drafting and investigating responses to these formal complaints. 

I am currently working as a consultant at ITI Capital. I work with the Account Management, Customer Services and Compliance departments. I work as the complaints handler and communicate directly with the clients as well as the Financial Ombudsman Services. the position involves drafting final response letters, and responses to legal notices as well. The job also has an administrative component.

I was working as a legal Intern with Wandu inc., in Beijing, where I drafted recruitment contracts and carried out other admin work.

I'm a certified mediator and have taken extensive training as  a negotiator. 

I gained my Masters in laws from University College London with a specialization in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. I also minored in Liquidation and its consequences, where we focused on the winding up of companies, especially due to the impact of Covid on the legislations. I wrote a dissertation on The Potential of Online Dispute Resolution as a Platform for Restorative Justice in Domestic Violence disputes, a response to the feminist critiques of Restorative Justice.

I Gained Practical and theoretical insight into the nature and limitations of Alternative Dispute Resolution and the skills of a Mediator.

I was a student at Renmin University, China, Beijing, for a semester and focused on international commercial law, as well as business law. I studied negotiation, Mediation and Arbitration under Dr. Stephen Mark Leonard. 

For my undergraduate degree, I studied at Jindal Global University. I did general law with a focus on International Dispute Resolution. I also focused on Online Dispute Resolution.
