Account Management and Sales.

  • Responsible for the account’s revenue, market share, and P&L. Led and assisted a team of 40+ professionals on pre-sales, sales, supply chain, implementation, collection and post-sales support. 
  • Sold over US$140m to the largest mobile provider in Venezuela.
  • Crafted a multi-year growing revenue stream of US$10m by replacing other vendors’ infrastructure.
  • Surpassed yearly sales quota by 40%. Preserved 90% of the account share, preventing a competitor from gaining an additional 20%. Oversaw sales pipelines of over US$100m 
  • Managed Venezuela’s PMR product line VAR with a US$250.000 sales quota.
  • Organised promotional activities to support the channels’ sales with a US$75.000 budget.
  • Created Nokia’s Movilnet (Mobile Service Provider) account by selling Venezuela’s first wireless data network for over US$2m. 
  • Prepared tenders and reviewed responses on behalf of clients on projects netting over US$100m.
  • Linked with business and technical product managers, gaining fast access and accurate information to explore, in 30-50% less time, viable solutions to customer needs

Marketing.

  • Proposed the upgrades and integration roadmap for a newly merged nationwide mobile operator (approximately 500RBS, over US$100m) using technology and business insights. 
  • Increased Nokia’s accuracy of attainable forecasting markets, by 10%, in Latin America.
  • Evaluated the product marketing and corporate communications region’s promotional activities.
  • Lobbied CONATEL (Venezuela’s Telecom regulator) to amend the designation of a frequency band.
