I recently completed my BSc in Economics, Finance, and Management at Queen Mary University of London, graduating with First Class Honours. My coursework encompassed a range of subjects including Futures and Options, Capital Markets, and Finance of Emerging Markets, which honed my quantitative and technical skills, as well as my critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, my role as an Associate in Audit and Assurance at Deloitte provided practical experience in financial analysis, risk assessment, and the implementation of risk controls. This position allowed me to develop a keen eye for detail and the ability to present actionable insights to senior management.

Over the past three years, I have gained comprehensive experience in the financial services sector through internships with Big-4 firms in Cyprus, specializing in both Audit and Advisory departments. My work involved conducting reconciliation testing, preparing financial statements, researching the ESG industry framework, and performing stress testing in Excel. These roles honed my research, analytical, and Excel skills. Additionally, during a 4-month stint as an Associate for Audit and Assurance at Deloitte, I further developed skills in budgeting, financial analysis, risk controls, lease testing under IFRS16, and cash management. This blend of audit and advisory experience has equipped me with the ability to navigate complex financial data, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial assessments and risk evaluations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, I also gained Python skills during my Finance of Emerging Markets course. Currently, I am enrolled in an online, part-time Executive Programme at Imperial College Business School, focusing on Business Analytics, covering Python Primer, Descriptive Analytics, Predictive Analytics, and Prescriptive Analytics. This program is enhancing my ability to summarize and visualize data, make predictions using machine learning, and apply data-driven solutions to business scenarios. Additionally, I am pursuing the CIFA Investment Advisor Certification (IAC) to deepen my understanding of the financial industry and regulatory frameworks, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), with coursework on UK financial regulation, investment, risk, taxation, and derivatives.
