Mariela Albornoz

Since leaving my native city of Buenos Aires, I’ve worked in London, Madrid and the United States before finally settling here in Edinburgh, Scotland, the city and country I call home. 
I have worked directly for companies like Diageo, Bacardi, and Disney; and in partnership with Deliveroo, Hilton, and Vodafone.

I'm so grateful for such a diverse career and the endless possibilities I continue to discover along the way. Today, my passion and dedication are focused on employer branding. 

By helping brands connect with the employees of today and tomorrow, I spark change in organisations and transform their employees’ experience. This is something I find infinitely rewarding and has empowered me with a deep sense of purpose. My role is a refreshing blend of research, analysis, creativity, communication, and consultancy.

So far I’ve provided employer brand strategies on projects for Ford, Specsavers, Johnson & Johnson and NatWest Group, amongst others. The role places tremendous responsibility on my shoulders but is immensely fulfilling. Because employer brand is my true calling.

And it’s more than helping businesses to attract and retain the best talent. Much more.
