Product:

  • Oversaw the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product that met market needs and customer requirements.
  • Responsible for the product strategy and for planning and approving the product roadmap.
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of the development team and product lifecycle through Jira, including feature prioritisation, and release schedules.
  • Implemented agile methodologies and product management best practices to streamline development processes.
  • Introduced new features and product enhancements that increased both business and client revenue, user engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Worked closely with designers and UX professionals to constantly improve user experience and accessibility.
  • Regularly gathered and analysed customer feedback and collaborated with the customer support team to drive product improvements and enhancements and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Ensured product compliance with relevant industry regulations and data security standards including GDPR and PCI compliance.

Operations:

  • Established and supervised operational teams across all company locations.

Strategy:

Finance:

  • Developed a comprehensive financial budgeting model for Givergy, setting annual budgets and targets.

  • Managed relationship and integration with Stripe to process over $1bn in client donations.

Systems and Integrations:

  • Responsible for all systems across the business.
  • Orchestrated the successful migration of our accounting system from Microsoft GP to Xero.
  • Supervised the migration from a legacy CRM to Salesforce, overseeing integrations with the Xero finance system and Givergy platform.
  • Managed the continuous evolution of Salesforce, transforming it from a platform supporting event-based operations to a subscription-based SaaS solution.

 

VPAR 

Co-Founder, July 2007 – August 2010 

VPAR provides pioneering technology for the golf market. Its primary product is an award-winning live scoring, performance tracking and social app for golfers, connecting players both on and off the golf course. 

  • Wrote the technical specification and brief for the initial product build.
  • Managed the development and successful launch of the innovative corporate product.
  • Established and led a successful operations team that delivered live scoring at 100s of corporate golf events.
  • Strategically hired and assembled a team to oversee day-to-day operations, enabling me to set up Givergy.

 

Wonderhatch

Co-Founder, August 2004 – July 2007

Wonderhatch is a Content Agency producing the very best photography and film for its clients across Rights Holders and Consumer Brands, Professional Services, Travel & Hospitality, Property & Construction and the Automotive Industry. 

  • Ran the operations team delivering campaigns for clients.
  • Managed internal budgets for client campaigns.
  • Involved in transforming the business from a photo marketing agency into a photography and video content agency.
