Mathieu Loran

A hard working University student who is studying Mechanical Engineering at Exeter University. I have previous work experience in this field at Meggitt where I gained an insight into what engineers do on a daily basis. I also volunteered at my local cub group, I believe both of these placements have given me the necessary skills to excel at this job. I also believe that playing rugby, cricket and other sports have helped me further develop these skills.

I have work experience at Meggitt PLC to learn about what an engineer does on a daily basis and the tasks as an employee I would be involved in. These included working with employees on a model engine as a demonstration piece that Meggitt will use. I also volunteered at the Cub group, where I led group activities with kids and helped prepare exercises both indoors and outdoors.

I have 11 GCSE's ranging from 6-8 and A levels in maths, physics and business achieving a grade B in all. Currently I am studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter.
