I’m Matthew and I have just finished my final year of A-Levels at Saltash Community School in Saltash. I would like to apply for the position of and attach my CV for you consideration.

I have been interested in business adminstration and how a business operates for some time, and this led to be completing my GCSE in Business Studies where I achieved a grade 6 and continuing these studies into A-Level where I am predicted a C.

Throughout my time studying, I have needed to plan and prioritise my workload to meet specific deadlines as well as use ensuring I kept up to date records on school-based databases and spreadsheets which I have enjoyed.

The position interests me because I enjoy working with and learning from others and this can be demonstrated in one of my key accomplishments where our team in Business Studies (A-Level) reached the final for a national competition. Unfortunately, we did not win, but I was proud to be part of a team that reached this stage.

I am a hard-working individual and a am adaptable, being able to change priorities and support others as needed.

I am looking for a role that will enable me to learn and develop skills and demonstrate of my passion and enthusiasm to succeed. 

Despite my limited work experience, I believe my eagerness to learn, coupled with my hard-work and dedication, will help me be an asset to any organisation.

Providing support to the on-site electrical team at a large project in Devon. Working with the senior installer to plan and mark out the initial installation to enable the larger electrical team to carry out the first fix.

Working in the office to help with phone calls to clients and planning the works for the week ahead

Supporting my disabled grandfather on weekends with general tasks around the house and garden
