Maya Shah

I am a 23 year old Psychology graduate. I graduated with a first class degree in BSc hons psychology. I have worked in mental health hospitals and in a medical hospital as a healthcare assistant for the past year. I am hardworking and have excellent communication skills, empathy and patience. I am looking for an opportunity to allow me to use all the skills and knowledge I have learnt in my degree and through my experience. I have a passionate interest in psychology and want to broaden my knowledge in this area. 

I have worked through my school years and education however since graduating, I have worked as a teaching assistant. This job allowed me to work with children who had complex needs and learning difficulties. I worked in mental health hospitals as a healthcare assistant which allowed me to work first hand with patients who suffer from mental health problems. I then moved to be a healthcare assistant within a medical hospital.

I have a first class degree in Psychology from Sheffield Hallam University.
