Millie Stearn

I've just completed a three year degree in children nursing. I am passionate about making a difference in children and families lives and I love to constantly learn new things. I have excellent communication skills with adults, families and children. I have experiences in a nursery as part of my degree so it is a familiar environment to me. 

My professional experience has been in customer service for a bakery as well as a venue with a high quality restaurant and wedding venue. It meant working as a team and working in fast paced environments constantly while upholding the customers experiences. I also have three years experiences developing my Professionalism in nursing across all different health and social care setting. 

• 2,300 clinical hours in different placements in Birmingham.
• 50% of my degree was academic which was a range of different assignment including self medicate, OSCE's, dissertation, and many more assignment. Whilst the other 50% was placement.
• I am BLS trained. 
• I have an extensive experience across children wards as well as adult ward, nursery and an autistic school.
• As well as working with multiple different healthcare professionals throughout my experience form play specialists, dieticians, doctors, surgeons, occupational therapist, social care.
