Millie Van Emden

Within this role I have helped to create the companies new brand identity during their rebrand, being in-charge of the social media platforms, creating successful campaigns, designing for exhibition shows and their most recent ‘Opsec’ event, which I designed it’s own brand identity. I have also used my skills to create video’s for youtube and thumbnails to a professional standard, created graphics for their website, monthly newsletter graphics, screensavers, giffs, product catalogues and much more. I was able to make interesting and engaging content using tik-tok and instagram reels creating outcomes such as video, animation and giffs. My skill set has also been utilised through printed outcomes, designing the product catalogue, creating adverts for magazines, company business cards, notebooks, merchandise, packaging for the company products, boxes for transportation, HR documents and much more. Whilst working at Oprema I taught several interns. I showed them how to create video content, how to make effective animations and advised them on their graphic design outcomes. My team leadership and design experience skills helped advise the interns how to interact with the social media platforms and I gained the confidence and patience of being able to teach and organise a team.

I completed an MA degree in Graphic Arts in the University of West England. Receiving a Merit.
