Muhammad Khan

A motivated and analytical MSc Development Economics student at the University of Sussex with a keen interest in business-oriented economic strategy and analysis. Experienced in consulting, data analysis, and project management for BioTrack Enterprises, a leading fertilizer company in Pakistan. Seeking to apply my skills and knowledge in a relevant role in the UK.

I have over a year of experience as a Business Development Associate Consultant for a leading fertilizer company in Pakistan, where I identified and solved various problems, implemented efficient solutions, and increased sales and market share. I also have experience as an Intern for the same company, where I assisted in data entry, analysis, and reporting. I have voluntary experience as a Co-founder of a social welfare foundation, where I collected and distributed donations, conducted background checks, and raised awareness. I have also participated in various extracurricular activities, such as being an Orientation Week Coach, a Director of Project Campus Clean-up, an Assistant Director of PHOTOLUMS Events, a Team member of Spades Society, and a Winner of mixed games Inter-Society Cup.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Development Economics at the University of Sussex, where I am studying modules such as Analytical Methods, Research Methods, Economic Analysis, Econometric Analysis, Development Macroeconomics, and Development Microeconomics. I am also working on a dissertation on the topic of rule of law and economic development in developing countries with high natural resources and lower-middle-class income. I have a BSc (Hons) in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, where I studied modules such as Big Data in Economics, Methods and Practice of Impact Evaluation, Issues in Economic Policy, Mathematical Application in Economics, Game Theory, and Intro to Logic. I also participated in a Cultural Exchange Programme at Karakoram International University.
