Experienced Support Worker

Dear Madam/Sir,

I am interested for the position of Support Worker in your company as this corresponds to my aspirations. I have compassionate nature that motivates me to reach out to people that are fragile, disadvantaged individuals having difficulty in getting on with their daily living. This nature was developed as a result of my contact and experience for more than 7 years working with women in difficulty in the society.

I equally have over 6 years’ experience working with vulnerable individuals in the social care sector. In the course of discharging my duties I took care of children, young people and adults, assisted them in their daily activities. I equally took charge of preparation of meals, as well as the cleanliness of their residence. Furthermore, I had the opportunity of providing care and support to individuals in their homes as a live-in care assistant.

My contact with the public in difficulty enabled me to develop excellent listening and communication skills, compassion, patience and a good sense of public relations. I believe being Support worker is not about money, it is all about making impact contributing positively to the wellbeing of other people. For instance, one of the clients I supported was able to reduce the quantity of her cigarette consumption which was remarkable in improving her wellbeing.  I would therefore like to join a dynamic company like yours, working in the social care sector to enable me make sustainable impact in the lives of individuals supported by the company.
