Dear Colleagues,
Many thanks for giving me an opportunity to tell you more about myself.
I have been doing my speciality Paediatric training from 1st of August 2018 & I entered the Paediatrics training at ST4 level, I have acquired all necessary skills, knowledge & procedures to be able to do work as a consultant.
I have also completed my Paediatric Diabetes & Endocrine SPIN training, during my SPIN training, I have been able to see more than 100 diabetic & endocrine patients & managed them as per NICE guidelines independently (predominantly) but also under supervision from excellent supportive teams. I have done two diabetes audits & published them in the archives of diseases of childhood journal, UK, & presented an audit in BSPED Conference last years (2022) at Belfast, uk.
I have extensive experience of working at Paediatric Single front door (Paeds ED department) Leicester Royal Infirmary UK) during my training. 
The reason why I am applying for the post is that I want to be part of a team, where I can procure more knowledge & skills to help myself to provide best & standard care for my patients.

I have written GUIDELINE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF A WELL CHILD OR YOUNG PERSON WITH A NEW DIAGNOSIS OF TYPE 1 DIABETES MELLITUS at one of the DGH hospital in east midlands deanery UK as well.
I have nearly 13 years’ experience in the field of paediatrics; I have finished my General Paeds training with SPIN in Paediatric Diabetes on 31s of Jan 2023.
I believe this post will help me in applying all the knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards my aim of providing best, safe, and standard care to my Patients.
Please allow me to let you know more about my interests in Paeds Diabetes during the interview on 23rd of June 2023.

 


Brief description of Activities during Consultant Jobs done so far:
During first Consultant role I Led the teams during the Leicestershire Acute Respiratory Illness community project (assessing, triaging & treating patients at The Willows Medical Centre - 184 Coleman Road Leicester Leicestershire LE5 4LJ) since 1st of February 2023 till 31st of March 2023.
After completion of Training I have been providing services as a locum consultant Paediatrician & diabetalogist at Kettering General Hospital, During locum consultant role at Kettering general Hospital, I have been working collaboratively with Acute  General Paeds, Neonatal , Transtional care baby units, PAUs, Paeds ED team, Virtual ward teams, Obs & Gynea teams & Paeds Diabetes & endocrine teams to deliver high quality care.
I have been doing 2-3 clinics per week (roughly 25% general and 75% Paediatric Diabetes specialty clinics– 
I have been leading the Paeds Diabetes MDT clinics at Kettering General Hospital since Feb 2023 & I am continuing to run diabetes clinics to help with medical staffing shortages.
My contract with Kettering General Hospital to support paeds diabetes outpatient clinics continues till end of this year.
Current role of Working as a consultant Paediatrician & Neonates at Russells Hall Hospital,
I have been working collaboratively with Acute  General Paeds, Neonatal , Transtional care baby units, PAUs, Paeds ED team, Virtual ward teams, Obs & Gynea teams and Community Consultant Paediatrician colleagues in developing out-reach paediatric services, facilitating collaborative working and promoting the philosophy of an integrated child health service since April 2023.
I have been working collaboratively with teams mentioned as above to Provide clinical leadership & working as a role model.
My clinical working style & collaboration with above mentioned teams have been Setting examples for my colleagues, Juniors & patients to adhere to highest standards of clinical care.  
I have been taking the active role of team working effectively for the improvement of teaching / training my juniors and involved in effective educational supervision.    
I have been contributing to  the on-call rota for general paediatrics and neonates on 1:7 rota, the on call commitments were non-resident.
